About the Creator
Abby — the explorer behind 304URBEXXX
304URBEXXX is Abby’s West Virginia–based urban exploration project. From empty hospitals and silent school halls to overgrown houses and shuttered factories, she goes inside the places most people only drive past — and brings their stories back out.
What started as a camera and a curiosity has grown into a community of 130,000 followers on Facebook, built one explore at a time across Appalachia and beyond.

Every explore is about preservation as much as adventure: the history, the people who lived and worked there, and the traces they left. Exact locations are kept private to protect the sites from vandalism — the stories are shared, the addresses are not.
